Merry Crass-Mass

Yo-ho-ho and a bottle of rum. Christmas is here, well it was anyway. just filling in time waiting for a new video driver to download....

Been riding Chambers and Horsnells heaps. Horsnells rocks, illicit but fantastic. Brutal climb then lots of drops decent along Hysen trail, past some ruins and new super secret waterhole and then brutaller-than-thou climb to Woods Hill Rd, then either decent on New Norton Summit Rd or back along Ridge Rd to Old Coach Rd and the mad ruts from hell. Can also access Stonyfell Quarry and the waterhole that too many people know about already.

Best track at Chambers is the death track, tight single track "unsuitable for mountain bikes" along cliff face. fantastic views, fatal drops, bloody beautiful.

Lars discovered a new way to add 20km of firetracks on ride to Fox Creek, detour to North East Rd and then cut back thru Anstey's Hill Reserve (including Torture Hill Track official name, not mine).

Front brake is back again, no more back brake while pedallin g to top wheel locking up down viscous singles. can't wait till next summer series race (12 Jan at Flinders Uni), no more chicken lining just because needed to start braking twenty metres before corner. Now all I need is to replace my bottom-bracket.

Is Risotto a pasta dish? I guess not, but I love it anyways. Bye

so much change, so little money

In the time since last (successful) blog attempt I have; came thrid at the Kona 24hr in solo male category, destroyed the front brake of my XC bike, quit my job, cyle toured in the Grampians, got drunk and over-ate in Melbourne and ridden some gnarly local trails.

More detail later...
