This is where my problems really started, removing my excellent Maxxis Larsen TT for a Michellin Wildgripper that some evil witch or wizard has put some devillish spell on. The three flat tyres would have been recoverable, probably only knocking me back one place at most, but my neck muscles cramped up in the cold while I sat in the forest wrestling with my mini pump. Had to do the smart (but definitely not cool and tough) thing lie down for hours.
